When you book with us online you’ll receive an automatic confirmation from our online booking system. Then, usually with 24 hours another email with detailed directions, information about where to eat etc. This email occasionally gets directed into SPAM/junk folders, so, if you don’t hear from us please drop us an email at email@example.com
We are an adult only B&B, welcoming guests aged 18 and over
We are non smoking in both the house and grounds.
Because of the extra precautions we need to take due to COVID19, we will not be doing a room tidy during your stay. We will leave a box outside your room with a checklist of items you’d like replaced.
We own 2 very friendly house dogs, Saffy and Ralphie, and lots of very free range hens. We keep the dogs away from guests unless guests specifically ask to meet them. The dogs are both young and we’re still working on stopping them jumping up! The garden is split into two. Please don’t go into Saffy and Ralph’s part of the garden without checking with us!
The B&B is probably not suitable for anyone with a dog allergy.
We are happy to welcome well behaved house trained guest dogs in the Barn Room only please read our guest dog policy.
We operate a minimum 2 night policy
A deposit equal to one night stay per room booked, is required to guarantee a reservation. Seven day notice of cancellation is required for refund. Please note we’re a small business and rely mostly on forward bookings, so cancellations can have a significant impact on us.
If a cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival the deposit will not be refunded but we will offer to move your booking to a future date. We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover you if you need to cancel. Please see below for our COVID19 terms.
As per government guidelines, please do not travel to us if you or any of your party has COVID 19 symptoms or if you’ve been told to self isolate. If this is the case and you need to cancel your booking please let us know ASAP. We will refund your deposit or offer to move your stay to another date.
If you develop COVID 19 symptoms whilst you are here, please let us know immediately. As per government guidelines, you will be required to leave the B&B and return home. We will refund the remainder of your stay, minus any expenses we have already incurred for food, platters etc.
If we have a case of COVID19 at the property we will shut the room for 72 hours.
If you have to self isolate within 14 days of leaving the B&B, please let us know immediately.
If we have to cancel your booking because we have to self isolate or because we have had a case of COVID19 at the B&B, we will refund your deposit and try and find you suitable alternative accommodation locally.
How To Pay Your Deposit and Balance
We are happy to accept Debit Card, Visa or Mastercard for payment of the deposit and the balance. Where possible we prefer payment by debit card.
We do not take Diners or American Express.
We will take the balance of your stay on arrival from the card you paid your deposit on via our online booking system.

Check In and Departure Times
Check in is usually between 16.00 & 19.00 and we ask that guests vacate their rooms by 10.30 on day of departure.
If you prefer to self check in please let us know.
We can’t allow an earlier check in or later check out due to the additional time we need to air and clean the rooms due to COVID 19
If you’re arriving after 19.00 we will arrange for you to self check in.
