The Barn
This ground floor room, formerly our barn, has lovely views North over Clunbury Hill and South over the Orchard. It has its own deck and seating area.
The Barn is a very large ground floor room in a separate building ( along with the Granary room ) just across the drive from the main house with its own private entrance. It has underfloor heating in the bathroom and fully controllable heating in the bedroom making it lovely and warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The bed is a super king size ( 6 foot wide ) with a new oak headboard. It has a large en suite tiled wetroom with large bathtub for 2.
We have a silent mini fridge in the barn. We provide the fresh milk and chilled mineral water and you can use the fridge to cool your own wine or keep your Ludlow goodies purchases cold.
It has been designed to the same high levels of luxury as the Orchard and Paddock Room, with a very restful colour scheme. The digital radio clock alarm has the added benefit of an iPod docking station. There are touch lamps next to the bed and various lighting options to create the mood you're after.
The floors are made out of locally sourced beautiful alder wood, with rugs for extra comfort We have complemented the existing comfortable Dutch armchairs with new light oak furniture.
We've added a large south and west facing outside deck area so you can sit out and enjoy this beautiful countryside. The picture below shows the view from the barn window out onto the deck.
The full breakfast is served in the dining room. Umbrellas are available if it's raining.
