Eating in at Hopton House

If you wish to eat in we can provide a one course supper at £12.50 a head served at 7pm.  This will typically be good homemade food such as lasagne, beef casserole, shepherds pie, chilli con carne, fish pie etc.

 

This must be booked at least 48 hours in advance as we're not close to the shops. Please note that we don't provide a meal on a Sunday night and we may not be able to do so at other times due to family commitments.

 

Please bear in mind that we are a small family run B&B and not a restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared so we can't serve different dishes to different guests or give you a menu to choose from - tell us what you like and don't like and we will do the rest.  

 

Dinner is served en famille around our large handmade oak table with other guests if they have also chosen to eat in - be prepared to make friends. 

 

We aren't licensed so please bring a bottle ( or 2 ). We are happy to chill white wine and don't charge corkage.

 

If you wish to bring in your own food or a takeaway to eat in the dining room we will provide you with plates and cutlery.

 

Please note that we use our own hen's eggs to cook with. These do not come with a red lion mark. If you want your eggs well done then please let us know. Some of the dishes below contain lightly cooked or raw egg.
