The Orchard Room - Visit Britain 4 Star Gold Award

 

This is a lovely light room, with windows facing East and South, enjoying  sunshine from early morning and for most of the day. This room has views across the orchard and our wildlife pond to the hills in the East. There are high ceilings with the original beams exposed.

 

There is a very comfortable King size ( 5ft wide) iron bed, made up with soft white bedlinen and pretty antique style quilt. The bed is normally made up with a duvet - please ask if you prefer blankets.

   

There is a bath and an over bath power shower. The floor is newly tiled. For Spring 2008 with have brand new wool carpets.

 

Also in the room is a comfortable wicker armchair with chairpad and cushions, dressing table and wardrobe. The lights at the side of the bed are touch lamps which are dimmable for a more romantic lighting.

 

We have 2 very comfortable settees in the sun room for guests who like to sit down and relax in the evening. Enjoy our beautiful views of the shropshire hills or sit and read a paper or book. we have a radio but no TV in the sun lounge.

 

The Orchard room is lovely and warm in the winter, with controllable central heating and a wool throw and hot water bottle for extra comfort.
