The Orchard Room

This is a lovely light room, with  2 large windows facing East and South, enjoying  sunshine from early morning and for most of the day. This room has views across the orchard and our wildlife pond to the hills in the East. There are high ceilings with the original beams exposed.

 

There is a very comfortable King size ( 5ft wide) iron bed, made up with soft white bedlinen and a pretty american style quilt. The bed is normally made up with a duvet - please ask if you prefer blankets.

   

This room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and an over bath power shower and a tiled floor with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Also an in room silent fridge stocked with sparkling & still mineral water.

 

 

Also in the room is a comfortable wicker armchair with chairpad and cushions, dressing table and wardrobe. The lights at the side of the bed are touch lamps which are dimmable for a more romantic lighting.

 

The Orchard room is lovely and warm in the winter, with controllable central heating and a wool throw and hot water bottle for extra comfort. 

 

The Orchard Room isn't as large as the other rooms, which is why it's a lower price, but it has all the same luxuries and comforts.

 

If you like to sit down and relax in the evening or morning, enjoy our beautiful views of the shropshire hills, watch the birds on our feeders or sit and read a paper or book, we have 2 very comfortable sofas downstairs in the sun room.

 

We have a radio but no TV in the sun room and this room is exclusively for guests' use ( unless you want a dog to cuddle, in which case Mitsi will be happy to keep you company ).
